As a tutor, I begin by assessing current knowledge, learning styles, and misconceptions to tailor lessons. I then create individualized plans that adapt to student engagement. I demonstrate a concept first, before guiding practise and allowing them to gradually and independently master the process.
I also make sure to take breaks when needed so that students are engaged and comprehending what they’re learning.
