First, I would pinpoint the particular subject-details the tutee wishes to learn. I'd inquire as to how best the tutee believes they learn best. I believe that generally, I would go over the theory of a given subject, to contextualize it. Then, I would show how the theory's results are applied in a given problem (1 or 2). I'd allow for the tutee to interrupt me any time with questions. Following that I'd ask if the tutee felt comfortable with what they'd learned, and provide them with problems to solve with me to consult.
