I am a native Spanish speaker and PhD candidate in Art History and Hispanic Studies at Durham University, with over eight years of classroom experience in the UK, the USA and Mexico. I have taught Spanish from beginners to advanced level at Middlebury College and Durham UniversityI. I tailor each lesson to the learner’s level, pace and goals, from conversation to grammar and exam preparation. My passion for art and culture shapes my teaching: I bring films, paintings and music into lessons so students experience Spanish as a living language. Having lived in several countries, I believe in language immersion and aim to make every session a small trip to the Spanish-speaking world.
