Build Confidence in Maths with a UCL Student Tutor for Key Stage 1 to GCE

Hi, I’m Gurjas! I’m currently studying Mathematics with Mathematical Physics at UCL. Maths is often seen as a difficult subject, and many students struggle with confidence when approaching it. One of the things I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students build that confidence and seeing the satisfaction that comes when concepts start to click. As a tutor, I aim to make maths feel more approachable and logical. I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind methods rather than just memorising them. My goal is to help students improve not only their ability in maths but also their confidence in tackling challenging problems independently.
