Mathematics tutoring for Key Stage 1-4 and A Level students from an LSE Actuarial Science student

Hi! I’m currently studying Actuarial Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and I’m passionate about mathematics and helping students become more confident in the subject. I recently completed my A Levels, including Mathematics and Further Mathematics, so I understand the A Level experience from a student’s perspective. I have also achieved a Gold Award in the Senior Mathematical Challenge (SMC) and placed in the top 5% globally in AMC 12. In my lessons, I focus on making difficult concepts simple and easy to understand. Rather than just giving you the answer, I’ll guide you through the reasoning step by step, identify where you are struggling, and help you develop a reliable approach to different types of questions. For A Level students, I can also help with exam technique, past-paper questions, time management, common mistakes and understanding mark schemes. I will adapt each lesson to your current level and goals, whether you want to strengthen your fundamentals, improve your grades, or prepare for exams. Most importantly, I want my lessons to be relaxed and interactive. You should feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and trying difficult problems. My goal is for you to leave each lesson understanding not only how to solve a question, but why the method works.
