Advert description
I am an artist and university lecturer at University of the Arts London, and I have also taught at UCL. I trained at Goldsmiths (MFA, Distinction) and UCL, and my work has been selected for New Contemporaries and shown at South London Gallery.
My contemporary art lessons help you understand what artists are doing today and why: key movements since the 1960s, major artists and exhibitions, and the ideas behind them, from installation and performance to photography and moving image. We look closely at works together, and you learn to analyse, discuss and write about them with confidence.
Every lesson is built around you. In our first session we talk about your goals and I set out a clear plan, with short tasks between sessions and written feedback. I teach GCSE and A-level students, including critical and contextual studies and essays, as well as university students and adult learners who want to explore contemporary art more deeply.
Lessons are available online or in person in London. Send me a message about what you are working on and I will tell you how I can help.
