GCSE and A-Level Science tutoring by a 4th year Dental Student with 7 years of experience

GCSE & A-Level Science Tutor | 7 Years’ Experience | 4th Year Dental Student I am an experienced Science and Maths tutor with approximately 7 years of tutoring experience, supporting students across GCSE and A-Level. I teach GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics across AQA, Edexcel and OCR A, as well as GCSE Maths for AQA and Edexcel. At A-Level, I teach AQA Biology and AQA/OCR A Chemistry. I am currently a 4th year Dental Student, giving me a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry and the wider biomedical sciences. My studies have also helped me develop the ability to break down complex scientific ideas into clear, manageable steps. My teaching style focuses heavily on understanding rather than memorisation. I first identify where a student is struggling, including any gaps in their foundational knowledge, before building the topic back up step by step. For example, if a student is struggling with electrolysis, I first check their understanding of ions and ionic bonding, as this is often where the real difficulty lies. Once the foundation is secure, I use clear explanations, diagrams, worked examples and exam-style questions to help them confidently apply the concept themselves.
