Hello, future trombone players! I’m excited to be your trombone teacher and to help you grow as musicians. Whether you’re picking up a trombone for the first time or you already have some experience, my goal is to make learning the instrument fun, rewarding, and enjoyable. In our lessons, we’ll work on the fundamentals—good posture, breathing, embouchure, slide positions, tone, rhythm, and technique. We’ll also play music that challenges you while giving you the opportunity to develop your own confidence and musical style. You can expect me to be patient, encouraging, and honest with my feedback. Making mistakes is completely normal, especially when learning an instrument. I’ll help you understand what went wrong, how to fix it, and how to keep improving. All I ask from you is that you come prepared, stay curious, practise regularly, and don’t be afraid to make a big sound! Most importantly, I want you to enjoy playing the trombone. I’m looking forward to making music with you and seeing how far you can go!
