A-Level AQA Physics Tutor | Durham University Physics Student (83%)| 3A*s| Online

Advert description
Whether you just received your GCSE results or you're heading into Year 13, it is time to get ahead of Physics.

I'm offering 1-1 tuition for one of the toughest A-Levels out there. Many students can handle the maths, which actually doesn't extend much past GCSE. What most students are missing, instead, is the conceptual understanding. Being good with a tool isn't very useful if you don't know where (or why) to use it.

Physics is such a beautiful subject. I feel so passionate about it, and this is why I want to help students see beyond the fear of “the hardest A-Level” and break down the barriers to doing their best. I do this by providing the help that I wish I once had.

My style is derived from what helped me most: understanding the underlying science. My lessons will focus on problem-solving and ensuring you can hit every mark in the mark scheme. I follow a schedule of regular progress tests to ensure that what we do helps you.

Struggling with physics isn’t a lack of info. YouTube is free for everyone.
It's the human things that many students struggle with:

- Just starting
- Keeping yourself going
- Feeling accountable to someone, not just yourself

I won’t just help you be better at physics. I’ll help you be a better student.

Who am I?

I'm someone who has always loved physics, but that doesn't mean I was always good at it. It took me a lot of work, which almost entirely occurred outside of lessons.

Now, I have achieved A*A*A* at A-Level (Physics, Maths, Computer Science); I got accepted into Durham University to study physics; I averaged 82.5% in my first year.

Alongside university, I have tutored 3 students through their GCSE and NAT5 physics exams, and having received 5-star reviews, I am now looking to help those in A-Level.

What do you receive from me?

- Lessons focused around you and your needs

- Exclusive revision sources and guides through some of the hardest physics questions that AQA has to offer, giving you an edge over others

- Lessons designed around problem solving, not memorisation

- Regular progress tests

- Optional out-of-lesson work

I know choosing a tutor feels like a big step and commitment, and I understand that. That is exactly why I am offering a free 30-minute session to help you to make a decision that is best for you.
