Advert description
With experience tutoring Year 6 and GCSE students, I use a personalized approach that adapts to each learner’s needs. My lessons are interactive, tailored, and focused on making complex topics easier to understand. I always begin by identifying each student’s strengths and areas that need improvement, and then I create a personalized plan to help them progress confidently.

Typically, my lessons start with a quick recap of previous material to make sure everything is understood before moving forward. I then introduce new concepts using clear explanations, real-life examples, and active questioning to keep students engaged. I also include plenty of practice questions to reinforce learning, especially for subjects like GCSE Chemistry, where understanding and application are both important.

I’ve tutored with Cosmos Tutors and have supported students in both one-on-one and small group settings. I’ve also helped a GCSE student in Chemistry improve her understanding and exam technique, and I’ve supported younger students transitioning from Year 6 to Year 7 in science, helping them build confidence in their new school environment.

I aim to make lessons a safe space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and truly understanding what they’re learning—not just memorising it. My goal is to help students feel more confident, independent, and even enjoy the subject more than they expected!

My lessons are well prepared and always student friendly. My students have their own topic list of areas that they are not feeling comfortable and confident in, and I aim to target these areas in order to strengthen those areas.

My students have given me great reviews as well. Reviews can be asked for and they will be provided.
