Although I’m not a professional tutor yet, I have experience teaching my younger sister English, as well as supporting my friends at university whenever they struggled to understand something. I’ve always been able to break topics down clearly, and by the end of the day they’ve not only understood it but also felt a real sense of happiness and accomplishment. In my lessons, I would start by identifying what the student already knows and where they need more support. I’d then explain the topic step by step, use examples and practice, and check understanding throughout. I aim to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere where students feel confident to ask questions and build their knowledge.
