Helping to grow that vital confidence

I was a classroom teacher for 30 years (primary) and have been 1-to -1 tutoring since 2010, beginning with students aged 7 -11. I started tutoring Maths at a higher level almost by accident. A Y6 student became Y7... and so it went on. I struggled with Maths myself at school (( got there in the end!) and I have never forgotten how it felt sitting in a classroom and not understanding. I bring that experience to Maths tutoring. I am a published author, so I can help students with any difficulties in GCSE English. History is my degree subject and I enjoy that part of my work
