PhD survival tips - from not getting overwhelmed to surviving the viva

I have a PhD in Occupational Psychology - I completed this qualification 'full time' whilst also working part time jobs and becoming a parent to two children.

I understand how tough a PhD is, and how other areas of your life can impact upon your academic success. Combining my recent experience - 2024 completion, with my psychology subject matter expertise, I feel I am well placed to assist fellow PhD students across any discipline.

I would love to help people through this process - to share general tips for not getting overwhelmed by the size of the task in hand, handing/communicating with supervisors, right through to surviving the final major hurdle - the viva.
