I am patient and great at problem solving, which will help anyone struggling with maths from ages 4-17.

I have previously taught 1 to 1 sessions where I have structured lessons in a way to cover as much content as possible prior to exams while making the maths seem less intimidating to students. This helps them gain confidence which i believe is the key to improving rapidly at mathematics! I will try to understand how a student best learns and personalise the sessions towards their strengths in order for them to excel. I previously tutored a student with special needs who was really struggling with maths and was bottom set, after a few months of tutoring i helped boost her confidence and get her through the curriculum, which led to her getting full marks in her final GCSE exam!
