I enjoy tutoring because I genuinely love seeing people grow in confidence. Studying sociology at University level has made me really aware of how differently people learn, and I like being able to adapt to that - breaking things down, finding the angle that finally makes something click. I get a lot of satisfaction from creating a calm, encouraging space where someone feels comfortable asking questions and taking their time. For me, tutoring isn’t just about teaching a topic; it’s about helping someone realise they’re capable of more than they thought. I also believe that confidence is a big part of learning and, tutoring can really benefit that.
