Literature as a pathway to personal transformation

I have a BA in International Relations from Nottingham Trent University. Upon graduation, I embarked on a journey to Vietnam where I have spent the last two and a half years teaching English to a range of students abilities and ages.

During this time, I developed a passionate love for literature and poetry - so much so that I am currently 20,000 words into my first novel, having wrote countless poems and two short stories. From little to no artistic background in literature, I have found it to be both a portal of discovery of your own mind and soul while simultaneously learning about the outside world. There is simply nothing more interesting than literature, and I know that my journey is one that is inside of everyone; a great poem, novel, or the ability to read a great book is inside of all of us - and it would be an honour to share that with young aspiring readers and writers!
