I teach all lessons remotely using video calls and an interactive online whiteboard, making sessions engaging and easy to follow. At the start, I'll discuss the student's goals, current ability and any areas they find challenging so I can tailor lessons to their individual needs. During lessons, I explain concepts clearly using worked examples before guiding students through practice questions to build confidence and understanding. I encourage students to ask questions throughout and adapt my teaching style and pace to suit how they learn best. For GCSE students, I place a strong focus on exam technique, helping them understand mark schemes, avoid common mistakes and improve their ability to answer exam-style questions. I also provide revision strategies, memory techniques and regular recap activities to reinforce learning. My aim is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking for help and developing the confidence needed to achieve their academic goals.
