I have been digging for artefacts in my youth, restored 18 century objects and teaching History of Culture and Contextual Art for couple oif decades. Now I run on-line classes and lectures, workshops on line.
I have experience teaching at BTEC and Higher Education levels. I been overseas (Norway,Sweden, Germany and Russia).
Art history is a complex and a bit detective subject where personal history, views and talent combines view on historical period and styles. There are two aspects : History- development of a certain styles, observing an artist path and theory of ART where you look at how it worked, why it stands out, looking into a concept behind the work.
