Advert description
I am a PhD-qualified Mechanical Engineer and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) with over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I currently work as a permanent Engineering Lecturer and Course Leader at Loughborough College, where I teach Engineering Mathematics and supervise undergraduate engineering students. I have also lectured at De Montfort University and several universities internationally.
I provide personalised one-to-one and small-group tuition in Mathematics for students of all abilities, including GCSE, A-Level, Foundation Year, HNC/HND and university level. My teaching style is patient, supportive and tailored to each student's learning needs, helping learners build confidence as well as improve their grades.
I can support topics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, mechanics, engineering mathematics, numerical methods and problem-solving. Whether you need help preparing for exams, catching up with schoolwork, improving your understanding of difficult concepts or achieving top grades, I will develop lessons that match your goals and pace.
My aim is to make mathematics clear, engaging and enjoyable by explaining complex concepts in simple, practical ways. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically and develop the confidence to solve problems independently. I have successfully supported students from diverse educational backgrounds and am committed to helping every learner achieve their full potential.
