My name is Zulfiqar Awan (aged 42). I am a British-born and raised lecturer who has lived and taught in Paris, Cape Town, and Istanbul. I currently live in Kuala Lumpur. I have been a teacher/lecturer for 18 years. The subjects that I teach in a multidisciplinary manner are history, psychology, sociology, classics and philosophy - IGCSE & A Level.

I have had a passion for studying and teaching the above subjects since the age of 24, and continue to study it as the psyche and its shaping by modern society (and vice-versa) has always intrigued me.
