Online Spanish Tutor- Spanish Native & Proficiency level in English

Advert description
I have a Bachelor´s degree in English teaching and started researching second language acquisition in English & Spanish to get my PhD. I have been teaching both languages since 2004 and since 2020 I have begun my online journey. I´m a true techy, I love incorporating interactive resources into my lessons and applying Flipped Classroom methodology. I think the integration of the four skills of language acquisition (listening, speaking, reading and writing) is pivotal to acquire a language.

Hey there!

So, you're probably wondering what it's like to be in one of my language lessons, right? Well, let me give you a sneak peek!

First things first, expect a lot of energy and enthusiasm. I'm all about making learning fun and engaging, I have been teaching for 19 years, I have a Bachelor´s degree in Language teaching. Whether we're diving into Spanish or English, I want my students to feel excited about the journey ahead.

Now, about the format - I like to keep things dynamic. Sure, we'll have structured lessons with clear objectives, but I'm also a big fan of flexibility. If we stumble upon a topic that really interests you, we'll explore it further. After all, language learning isn't just about conjugating verbs; it's about discovering new cultures and perspectives too.

Speaking of which, expect a lot of cultural immersion. I believe language and culture go hand in hand, so we'll delve into literature, music, films - you name it! Plus, I'll throw in some colloquialisms and slang to keep things real. I am currently working on my research to get my PhD in Second Language Acquisition so I have been studying a lot about globalism and local culture.

As for my experience, well, let's just say I've been around the block. From teaching in traditional classrooms to tutoring one-on-one, I've done it all. And hey, I've even dabbled in administration and management too! But no matter where I've been, my focus has always been on creating a supportive environment where students feel empowered to reach their full potential.

So, if you're ready for a language learning adventure like no other, I'm your gal! Let's embark on this journey together and make some linguistic magic happen.

Looking forward to meeting you soon!

Cheers,
Isolina
