I am a native English speaker, and a qualified and experienced teacher of students at all levels

I will first discuss with the student what their needs and goals are with the language, do they need to complete a proficiency test, learn technical English for their profession or studies, or do they want to improve their conversational proficiency.

Having established what the student wants to achieve, I will design custom lessons, in order for the student to achieve their goal as quickly as possible. The lessons will involve a variety of activities, depending on the student's needs.

My lessons will require students to be active, both in speaking and listening, as reproduction of the language is the only way to make serious progress. Reading and writing practice will be primarily homework assignments unless the student needs to improve these skills as a priority.
