English tutor - creative writing expertise

I have extensive experience as a tutor, Trainee Teacher and as a teaching assistant, as well as a first class degree in Education Studies. The focus of my Dissertation was facilitating Creative Writing. As a teacher and a tutor, I have not just sat on this research - I have learned from it. English is my passion, and I have the academic qualities to prove that!

Each session begins with a short, brain stimulating writing activity. Then, a recap of what was learned in the previous session - both should take around 20 minutes, then a 30 minute activity practicing new learning (catered to the individual pupil). Then, a short 10 minute recap of the learning from the day - ending in a fun activity (always!).

Every lesson takes a very similar structure to this. It is proven and effective. The content of each lesson, however, will depend on the needs of the pupil.
