I would describe myself as a patient, supportive, and structured maths tutor who focuses on building confidence as well as understanding. I believe maths should feel logical and approachable, not intimidating, and I aim to break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps. I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner, checking understanding regularly and encouraging questions so students feel comfortable engaging with the subject. My lessons are aimed at high school and junior level maths students. This includes learners who may be struggling and need concepts explained from the ground up, as well as students who want to strengthen their foundations or improve exam performance. I focus on core skills such as number sense, algebra, geometry, and problem solving, using worked examples and guided practice to help students apply what they learn with confidence.
