High quality bass guitar lessons from a teacher with more than 10 years of experience

I'm a Leeds based bass player who has taught bass to students of all ages and backgrounds, with more than 10 years of experience I have developed an approach that is relaxed but gives my students the results they want to become the musicians they would love to be.

As a performer playing around the country and Europe (recently winning the parliamentary Jazz award with "Ubunye") I also have the practical skills and experience to support musicians who are currently working and performing.

My experience of styles varies from jazz, country, mariachi, rock, metal, solo bass performance and pretty much anything you can think of. Variety is the spice of life after all!

I highly recommend guitar lessons with Sam. I’ve been having lessons once a week since May 2024. Sam is an excellent tutor. His lessons are enjoyable and relaxed but with a clear focus. Sam is a talented musician and incredibly knowledgeable about different genres of music and all things guitar related. I recommend Sam for beginners to advanced musicians. I’ve made great progress and plan to have lessons with Sam for as long as possible!
