Advert description
One of my biggest strengths as a maths tutor is being able to explain things in a way that actually makes sense. I know how frustrating it feels when numbers get confusing, so I like to break problems down into small steps and keep it simple. I’m very patient and don’t mind going over something more than once, because I’d rather a student feel confident than rushed.
I’ve helped people with the basics like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages. Everyone learns differently, so I try to adjust my approach depending on what works best for them. Sometimes that means using real-life examples, sometimes drawing things out, or just giving lots of practice questions until it clicks.
For me, tutoring isn’t just about getting the right answers. It’s about helping someone build confidence in themselves and start to believe that they can handle maths. Seeing that shift is what I enjoy the most.
