Advert description
I am an A-level student who achieved grade 9s in both GCSE Maths and Science, so I know exactly what it takes to succeed in these subjects. Having recently been through the same exams myself, I understand the challenges students face — from struggling with difficult topics to dealing with exam pressure — and I use this experience to make my lessons as relatable, supportive, and effective as possible.
Each lesson begins with a clear focus. Together, we set a goal, whether it’s reaching a particular grade, mastering a tricky topic, or building exam confidence. Once we know the target, I guide my students through structured but engaging lessons that never feel boring. My approach is active and interactive: rather than just lecturing, I involve my students in problem-solving, exam-style practice, and clear explanations that make even the hardest ideas understandable.
I don’t believe in simply “commanding” like a traditional teacher. Instead, I work alongside my students as a mentor, adapting to their individual needs and learning style. I show them different ways to approach questions, break concepts down into simple steps, and most importantly, help them develop confidence in their own ability to succeed.
From the very first lesson, my priority is to make students feel comfortable and supported. I ensure we move at a pace that works for them, while also guaranteeing steady and consistent progress. Whether exams are two years away or just around the corner, I make sure each student is improving every session, building strong foundations, and moving closer to achieving their best possible grade in Maths and Science.
