Specialist GCSE Science Tutor. GCSE Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Combined Science Tuition Online

Hi, I’m Dr Rehman, (BSc, MSc, PgCiLT, PhD). I provide online small-group tuition for pupils studying GCSE Science — Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Combined Science. Classes have a maximum of 2 or 3 students, allowing me to give each child individual attention. I specialise in GCSE Science tuition for Years 9–11 pupils across the UK. The cost for each 1 hr lesson is £25, which includes the cost of me setting and assessing the weekly homework.

After graduating in Biomedical Sciences, I completed a MSc and PhD in Biology at Newcastle University, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching (PgCiLT) at the University of Sheffield.

I have over 25 years of teaching experience, including 15 years as a University Lecturer teaching postgraduate and medical students. I have also worked as an internal and external examiner.

My classes are deliberately kept very small, so students can ask questions, receive the support they need and benefit from lessons tailored to their specific exam board.

My teaching approach is designed to build confidence as well as knowledge. Many of my students have made significant progress and moved up grade boundaries in a relatively short time, as shown in my testimonials. Many have also gone on to study subjects including Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Optometry, Cardiac Physiology and Biomedical Sciences.
