I'm a qualified academic English and university study skills tutor with over 20 years experience behind me.

I can help students of multi disciplines with academic research skills: reading strategies, writing guidance in various genres; I have experience of supporting students in the Arts, Business and STEM backgrounds. I am also a fully qualified and experienced IELTS tutor and have spent a number of year in New Zealand, and the UK, as a teacher helping students from many countries prepare and successfully pass this university entrance exam. I can also teach A level English Language and have worked as a teacher in the UK doing so. I have experience of teaching online and face to face. I consider myself to be a patient, supportive tutor who makes my students feel comfortable and relaxed in my classes. I am an adaptive tutor who despite having thoroughly prepared materials will adapt to fit the emerging needs of the student.
