Tutor of Photography and Photojournalism

Dear Sir or Madam,
my name is Angela Varricchio, and I am a Ph.D. student in Media and Cultural Studies at the Department of Sociology of Lancaster University.
I would love to be your Tutor of Photography because I have developed a wide range of theoretical knowledge and technical skills in photography, war photography and photojournalism.
My education includes the completion of a Full-Honours Degree in Science of Communication, two Post-degree Specializations, in Photojournalism and Media Content Product Management, and a Master’s Degree of Arts in Photojournalism. Additionally, I took the HE Associate Fellow Certification in 2020 and I am planning to take the HE Fellow certificate by 2024.
I am an experienced freelance photographer, photojournalist, wedding photojournalist, travel and street photographer, and war documentarist. From 2005 to 2017 I had been covering national and international contemporary daily news as a freelance photojournalist, reporting the condition of migrants in the Italian Centres of Gathering, the dramatic consequences of the earthquake of L’Aquila on population, the environmental risks of the Swedish coasts, etc..
I have a high understanding of T I have a high understanding of digital tools. My literacy ranges from creative to digital skills, with a high proficiency in Adobe Photoshop 2021, Adobe Premiere 2021/2022, Adobe InDesign 2021, Adobe Bridge 2021, and Adobe Audition 2021.
