Mathematics tutor providing online lessons for children between the ages of 7 and 11

I am an experienced private tutor with over 9 years of teaching experience, having started face-to-face tutoring in 2016 and virtual tutoring in 2020. I specialise in primary school education, teaching children aged 6–12, and supporting pupils in KS1 and KS2, including SATs and 11+ preparation. I have worked with learners in Nigeria, the UK, Canada, the USA, and Australia, adapting my lessons to different curricula and learning needs.
My teaching method is child-centred, structured, and engaging. I break complex topics into simple, relatable steps and use colourful resources, visuals, games, real-life examples, and guided practice to ensure understanding. I assess each pupil’s strengths and learning gaps, personalise lessons accordingly, and provide regular feedback to track progress and build confidence. I am patient, encouraging, and particularly attentive to pupils who need extra support or confidence-building.
My purpose as a tutor is to make learning enjoyable, accessible, and effective, while helping children develop strong academic foundations, independent thinking skills, and self-belief. I am committed to nurturing every child’s potential and supporting parents in achieving lasting academic improvement for their children.
