My GCSE Science tutoring sessions support students studying Foundation Combined Science, particularly the AQA exam board. I currently work as a Science Academic Mentor in a secondary school, where I support targeted students in improving their understanding and exam technique to help them achieve a grade 5 in AQA Foundation Combined Science.
Through this role, I regularly work with students who may lack confidence in science or find certain topics challenging. I focus on breaking down complex scientific concepts into clear, simple explanations so students can build their knowledge step by step.
I am also currently studying STEM at university, which allows me to continue developing my scientific knowledge and apply it within my tutoring.
My sessions focus on understanding key content, practising AQA exam-style questions, and developing strong exam techniques so students know how to structure their answers and gain marks. I use a range of teaching tools including diagrams, videos, visual explanations, and structured exam practice to suit different learning styles.
My aim is to help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding of science, and achieve the best possible results in their GCSE exams. š
