Looking for a patient and experienced programming tutor to help you or your child learn to code? I offer online, one-to-one lessons designed for beginners and secondary school students, with over 5 years of coding experience and a strong background in both front-end and back-end development.

My lessons are hands-on and project-based, helping students learn practical coding skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and web development using React, Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and more. Each session is structured to introduce a concept, demonstrate it clearly, and then guide the student as they apply it through small, engaging projects like calculators, games, or websites.

I currently teach coding part-time in several state and private schools, so I’m experienced in explaining programming to students of all abilities. My approach focuses on building real understanding and confidence—not just memorising code, but learning how to think like a programmer.

Lessons are fully online, flexible, and tailored to each student’s pace and goals—whether they’re starting from scratch, preparing for their GCSE Computing project, or building their first app or website.

By the end of each lesson, students walk away with a working project, stronger problem-solving skills, and a clear understanding of how coding works in the real world.
