I give private lessons to students who are looking to boost their grades by sharing tips and techniques I had used myself as well as engaging students into taking their teaching into their own hands

I wish to pursue a career in teaching in the future and I believe this would be the most useful and productive way to develop my skills whilst also sharing my knowledge.
I worked in an English-medium school in India observing teaching approaches used for the progression of language acquisition: children only conversed in English and were encouraged to use unfamiliar words in their writing and speaking in order to acquire the vocabulary. This conveyed the importance of adaptability and access of support, as I gained a more rounded understanding of different attitudes to education. The evaluative skills developed from the Language Leaders Award assisted me in these situations. Following pilot lessons, I delivered Welsh lessons to 10-year-old children, where the vocab was associated to images before they engaged with the terms through games.
Furthermore, I gained all 9s in my GCSEs (11 subjects including Further Maths) and A* in A-Level Maths and Psychology and A in A-Level English Langauge. I have developed skills on how to learn these different subjects to a high level and believe I can share these skills to my students in order to help them succeed.
