I am a qualified primary teacher with 5 years of classroom experience, with particular expertise in Key Stage 1. I have experience teaching children across the primary age range, including older children who are working at a Key Stage 1 level. I have also worked with a range of children with SEND and understand the importance of adapting lessons to meet each child's individual needs, strengths and learning style. My lessons are fun, engaging and tailored to the child, using practical, visual and interactive activities to make learning accessible and enjoyable. I can support children with phonics, reading, writing, maths and general primary school learning, as well as helping children build confidence and catch up in areas where they may need additional support. I create a calm, patient and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and celebrating their progress. My aim is to make every lesson purposeful while helping each child feel motivated, confident and proud of what they can achieve.
