I am a student at Kings College London with 2 years of experience as a volunteer tutor and mentor with A-level and GCSE students.

My teaching approach is always centred around the student. I make sure to cater each lesson to the student’s age, academic ability, and preferred learning style, so that they feel both supported and challenged. During my work experience at Avondale Park Primary School, I worked closely with a group of children with special educational needs. This taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and using creative methods to explain concepts in different ways so that all students can benefit from my teaching. I carried this forward by ensuring that I adjust my teaching pace and techniques to suit each learner, whether that means breaking down topics into simpler steps, using visual aids, or encouraging problem-solving and discussion. My goal is to build confidence as well as knowledge, so students feel motivated and able to reach their full potential.
