Year-12 student with strong understanding of, and passion towards, the subject of Biology. Offering online biology tutoring for KS3 and KS4 students.

To assess my students' needs, I will ask questions strategically to find out what they already know and what they need to learn. This will help me identify their strengths and weaknesses, and allow me to provide them a more effective and personal response. To communicate ideas effectively, I will use not only verbal explanations, but also visual representation, examples, analogies, and topic-specific exam questions with model answers. The only previous experience in teaching I have had was through mentoring younger students at my school as an Academic Prefect throughout Year 11, where I demonstrated development of communication skills. In Year 12, I continued volunteering to mentor KS3 and KS4 students, helping them become more confident with the science subjects.
