Advert description
Hi, my name is Dr Alistair Gregg and I am a resident doctor living and working in London. I am passionate about medical education and mentoring.
I graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2021 with academic distinction in my 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th years of study, alongside a first class honours BSc in Infectious Disease and Immunology from Imperial College London. I have now over four years worth of clinical experience within the NHS and completed the Foundation Programme with ARCP Outcome 6.
I have 10 years of clinical teaching experience across a range of settings, with consistently excellent feedback. Throughout my time at university I taught regularly for two medical education and peer mentoring societies. I also tutored GCSE and A-level Biology privately at this time. Since graduating I have facilitated over 50 hours of teaching for pre-clinical and clinical medical students. I also have experience of mentoring final year medical students through their final exams and the transition into FY1 year. In addition, I am a trained OSCE/CCA examiner at City St George's University of London, regularly examining final year OSCE exams.
I also have experience teaching other qualified doctors having established and run two weekly programmes in hospital over the past 18 months. I am also a qualified RCUK Advanced Life Support (ALS) instructor.
I have always found teaching incredibly rewarding, and I am happy to work online or in-person from my location in central London. Please get in touch if you are looking for help with GCSE or A-level Biology, UCAT preparation, medical school interview preparation, MBBS undergraduate medical tutoring, finals exam and OSCE preparation or undergraduate medical careers mentoring. Thanks!
