Advert description
I am a law tutor and doctoral researcher with a strong academic background and extensive professional experience supporting learners across a wide range of educational settings. I am currently undertaking a PhD in Law at the University of Suffolk, where my research focuses on corporate accountability, human rights, and UK and international legal frameworks.
I hold a law degree (2:1) and have completed the Law Society Finals, alongside a Master’s degree specialising in Human Rights and International Law and CSR and Business Human Rights. My academic work is complemented by many years of experience teaching and supporting learners in , community education, and non‑mainstream provision, including students who benefit from a flexible, supportive, and confidence‑building approach.
As a tutor, I am experienced in explaining complex legal concepts clearly and accessibly, helping students to develop strong legal reasoning, structure their written work effectively, and build confidence in exam and coursework preparation. I adapt my teaching style to suit individual learning needs and aims, whether students are studying law for school, access courses, undergraduate study, or personal interest.
I am patient, encouraging, and learner‑centred, with a strong commitment to inclusive education. I aim not only to help students succeed academically, but also to develop their critical thinking and confidence when engaging with law as a discipline.
