GCSE Physics, Maths, and Chemistry Tutor. Physics Graduate offering in person lessons, as well as online

I offer friendly and patient lessons, with a welcoming style for any anxious pupils. I have a Bachelors degree in Physics from the University of East Anglia, and have experience tutoring GCSE students. I am happy to travel a good distance for in person lessons as I understand many children can find these easier.

In the past I have taken pupils from a grade 4 to a grade 7 in their GCSEs within five months. I like to begin sessions by working with my pupil through anything they have been struggling with recently, before moving onto new topics, and practicing familiar questions until confident, encouraging independent thinking, while remaining ready to help when needed.

I find it very rewarding to see a pupil begin to figure out difficult questions on their own without assistance, my goal is to help my pupils by not just memorising answers, but to teach them to be able to be work out challenging topics and questions, even if they have not seen the concept before.

Some children struggle to speak to new people, I understand this as I was the same in school! I like to consider myself understanding and well adapted to helping students especially if they are nervous, I aim to deliver the best for all my pupils.
