Experienced tutor of GCSE English, IELTS, PTE, CAE exams etc

I have taught students of all levels, from all across the world and have helped them to improve their levels of English either for their pleasure or for academic purposes such as Cambridge, IELTS, ISE, ESOL and TOEFL exams - with successful results.

I have a degree in English Language & Literature and a TEFL certification.

I have a particular interest in grammar and vocabulary and I can help you with all aspects of communication.

I have four children who I have helped through primary to secondary education. I have home-schooled my son through secondary education and, in addition, I have helped to tutor English in my local primary school.

I am familiar with teaching not only English as a second language, but also helping native speakers to improve their skills from KS1 upwards. I teach both GCSE and A Level Language and Literature. I am also able to assist with 11+ and grammar school exam preparation.

I have experience with proofreading and copy editing for both fictional and factual texts, including academic writing. Please note that due to the time required with these tasks, extra lesson time may need to be booked in order for me to carry these out
