I’m a newly graduated Physicist and experienced tutor who has a large repertoire of learning techniques from 3 years of one-one tutoring. Other than giving you a leg up in your education, my teaching style focuses on generating a self-confidence and a degree of enthusiasm and curiosity towards learning in general.

My lesson doctrine is based on the classic notion that ‘We learn by doing’, and that doesn’t just mean going through Past Paper questions, although we will be doing a lot of that, don’t you worry! It also means having discussions about what we have learnt, and seeing how this connects to your wider knowledge. Sometimes, I’ll even encourage you to lecture me! Reciting definitions is all well and good, but to truly understand something means putting it in your own words.
