I am a highly qualified and experienced primary school teacher tutoring 11plus and Sats booster classes for the past 30years.

I tutor both face to face and online using a visualiser. I have tutored 11plus and Common Entrance to local grammar schools and public schools as well as primary subjects, particularly Maths and English SATS sessions for those needing a boost in these areas.

Julie in a nutshell

I have a masters' degree (M.Ed) in primary education and been a primary teacher for forty years both in the state and, latterly in the private, grammar school, sector. I still do supply work when the phone rings. I have been a primary subject tutor for forty years, specialising in entrance at 11 plus to Grammar schools, as well as KS2 SATS. I have a certificate in Children with Learning Difficulties and have helped many children reach their educational potential, encouraging and fostering confidence as well as teaching knowledge and skills needed to progress. I have been an exam marker of both English and Maths SATS.
I am happy to teach both face to face (in my home) as well as over Teams/Zoom
