It seems from your site, that you are in the UK. I live in Paris, France and return the end of March 2023.
I have tutored students before in my hometown of Houston, Texas in French, the langauge I am fluent in besides English.
I believe students of English need to learn practical day to day English. In our language there are so many words that can have multiple meaning depending on the sentence structure. My French friends learning English have told me this can be very confusing.
