I am an enthusiastic, jolly and compassionate person by nature. Driven by the desire to improve ones self and the betterment of others lives. I believe and understand the intrinsic motivations adult learners hold dearly, and there is no better satisfaction than to be a vessel in aiding their goals.

I have spent most of my life in education, completed all my GCSE’s, 8 A-levels, attain a university degree (BA Hons Politics and International Relations) and CELTA course. I believe to be teacher or a tutor one must understand the needs of their learners, because it is only then that you can teach affectively. Additionally, understanding their learning levels and styles. Everyone learns differently, and it is the tutors/teachers job to cater to their students needs and create innovative lessons that bring students together and flourish in class.

My classroom experiences are relaxed, easy going, informative and testing. This means that I allow you to explore your ideas, ask questions and allow you to apply the knowledge individually and within group work. My lessons are usually fun, allowing students to work comfortably as I believe teachers are responsible for creating interest in the learning process. I am interactive with my students and will always encourage them voice their opinions and what they think they have understood. Your feedback enables me to improve on how effectively I can communicate with you and help you to reach your intrinsic and extrinsic goals and motivations.

Classrooms are usually set up before the students arrive depending on the activities planned, the atmosphere is positive and I always have a smile on my face to promote a healthy environment. Students tend to learn best when they are relaxed, calm and focused which is what I strive for in every lesson. I reduce my teacher talking time so that it's all about the students and their input.
