Fully qualified Science teacher and AQA examiner

I am a fully qualified Science teacher with 13 years' experience teaching in schools and private tutoring. I am able to quickly form a good relationship with students to make sure they feel happy and comfortable, and most of all have fun during our lessons! Outside of my teaching career, I have three daughters who keep me very busy and I love to play tennis.

I have a wealth of the most up-to-date resources and exam material to use within lessons.
I have a very structured yet dynamic approach to, ensuring all students feel at ease with the pace and difficulty level of each class. The most important thing is that they feel happy, engaged and confident in my lessons.

I teach well-structured lessons that are fully tailored to the individual's needs. Lessons will last one hour and typically include a PowerPoint with interactive animations, and mini plenaries and quizzes to check understanding as we progress. Students find these lessons fun and engaging and make quick progress!

The second half of the lesson focuses on application of knowledge. I will use the most up-to-date exam questions whilst we work together to apply what we have just learnt to questions in the format given by the examiner. Students will also be provided with extra questions to supplement their class work, and I will email all resources and PowerPoints after the lesson if required.
