The way in which I will teach a new topic is first by conducting a lesson where we go through the basics of the topic itself and get an overall understanding and to make sure the student does understand it we go through anything step by step and then we do some questions together to get the hang of it in which I will then set some sort of question sheet or worksheet based on what we have done. Depending on the outcome in which they are achieving all of the answers we will move on to the more complex part of the topic where i again repeat the same cycle of going through the question step by step how to figure it out and the best ways to achieve the answer so that they again have an understanding in which they can combine both the basic and the more complex parts together to get a complete understanding of the topic as a whole in which they will then be set a homework for active recall to make sure they do not forget the topic itself. However if there is wrong answers on the worksheet we then work on any misunderstandings and go through the questions again to be able to get to the correct answer and allow the student to be able to get comfortable with knowing how to do the question then moving on to the complex part of the topic and repeating the cycle.
