Advert description
After teaching in north Wales for 12 years, I moved to Pembrokeshire and set up my tuition company, Pembrokeshire Tuition, in 2012. Passionate about teaching, I am happy to teach online, in person and glad to help with home schooling. My aim is to support students so that they don't find subjects daunting, and to help stretch others in order to reach towards their true potential. I am a huge believer in the importance of positivity, praise, encouragement and that there is no such thing as 'wrong', 'no' and all the other negatives that have such a detrimental effect on students. There's no red biro or crosses for me!

I live near Milford Haven, Johnston and Haverfordwest, but am happy to travel further afield. I can also teach 45 minutes at a rate of £28. Please contact me to discuss how I can help with tuition.

Alistair was excellent with my daughter, who has some additional learning needs, and was struggling in gcse English. He was able to explain things in a way she understood, was engaging , and got her to really think about her answers and expand on them. But all done in a lovely manner without putting pressure on her. Her grades really improved thanks to Alistair, totally recommend Alistair as a tutor!
