Do you believe you're not good enough? That you're just not enough - or that you don't measure up? I spent most of my earlier years trying desperately to fit in - into a society that would never accept me... see me... or value me. Then I gave up trying, because, as Brene Brown puts it = fitting in means that you don't belong. This began a long, painful, and ultimately exhilirating journey of finding out who and what I really am - the reasons I shall never fit in - and, more importantly, why I would never wish to! I built up a business, Sterling Communication CC, from nothing to company that delivered Health and Safety programmes to large corporates, such as Coca-Cola, Mercedes Benz, PG Bison, Anglo American's Scaw Metals group on an international level. I bought a plot overlooking the sea, and I built a beautiful house with a swimming pool. I raised my son and two stepsons into the productive young men they are today. Yet I still felt unacceptable. It was when I was thrown under the bus by those I had desperately sought approval from that I woke up and began to see through the lies and the manipulations. I stopped grappling for others' validations. It was time to grow a spine and see my strengths for myself. I have since learned an entirely new vocabulary that involves honesty, boundaries, self acceptance and real love at its core. I have the freedom to be myself and I have the tools to help you do the same. You can enjoy an enriched life... after all, there is no encore!
