I’m 27 years old and live in London. I reached out to Naomi in a very uncertain time when I wanted to change career from social work to the violin! Looking back, the sessions were an essential part of giving me the confidence to make practical next steps and the self-belief to pursue my real passion. It was especially helpful when Naomi drew on her own experiences and resources as a violinist. There are still a lot of unknowns ahead but the overall coaching process has made me feel much readier to embrace change and dream that little big bigger each step of the way.

As a tutor Naomi was friendly and down to earth. She shared valuable insights and advice in technique, interpretation, practice preparation and musicality, covering a wide variety of styles and incorporating baroque bowing technique and ornamentation. She enabled me to recognise the importance of identifying and applying finer intonation along with more incorporation of playing by ear or memory.
